OPTION 1 Inspection
You find a piano online, through a friend, or through whomever and hire me to thoroughly inspect it for you.
OPTION 2 I locate
Have me locate, inspect, refurbish, and sell you a piano. You pay $200 upfront and I begin the search.
Uprights (Consoles, Studios, Pro-Model Series Verticals Only)
FIRST: Budget. Keep in mind... Vertical (upright pianos) range from approximate $3k to over $20,000. Grand pianos range from approximately $8k to over 6 figures. These are new values, and the pricing is typically derived from:
SECOND: After you've given me your search criteria (below), I begin to search for your piano. After finding a few candidates I think you should pursue, I show you the listing and give you an estimated "End Purchase Price" on that particular piano. This price is the amount you have already budgeted. If the piano is structurally sound and in need of non-rebuilding TLC, you then buy the piano for its current price (or price we agreed with the seller) and pay for professional movers to deliver the piano to my place.
THIRD: The piano goes directly back to my home and is treated like it were my own. I then recondition the piano back to excellent quality, showroom standards within 2 to 4 weeks, performing all of the necessary work such as regulation, voicing, tunings, & polishing. You'll also receive a Piano Life Saver System with the purchase of the sale. This will help control the right amount of moisture inside the belly of your piano, which can benefit the tuning stability and certain important components.
LASTLY (applicable if the piano is in my position ONLY). You come to my home to hear and play on it upon completing the work aforementioned. If you're not satisfied with the piano, I give you your money back for what you paid for the piano upfront, minus the moving expense, and I keep the piano to sell outright. If you are satisfied with the piano, I sell it to you for the already agreed "End Purchase Price".
What you get with this option.
