Preparing for Your Tuning

A semi-quiet environment helps create an optimal tuning experience. You might also want to remove anything (non-piano related) from the piano as Randy will be removing parts of the cabinetry.

What I’ll Need

I just need 10 minutes to run a quick but thorough inspection to then go over options with you. 99% of the time, inspections are free & only charged if the primary reason for the visit is the inspection. First-time visits are usually anywhere from 1 hr to 2.5 hours.

If you haven't tuned your piano in years, it probably needs a little lovin’ on the first visit.

Pitch Raising - multiple discounted tunings which increase & stabilize the strings back to proper pitch (very important)

Cleaning - interior & exterior cleaning provides awesome care your piano, helping to keep it working correctly (very important)

Key Adjustments - how easily and evenly the keys play is called “regulation”. I will check this for you!
