Family Man, Piano Technician, & Entrepreneur

Randy Cassotto prepping Jim Brickman’s Yamaha CFIII before his performance at The Bushnell Performing Arts Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

I studied with the Randi Potter School of Piano Technology in 2003 while apprenticing with RPT, Keith Kopp, in Provo, Utah. During that time, I started making wood & steel tuning levers while being employed at Craft Supplies, a woodturning supply store in Provo.

I served as the Chief Concert Piano Technician for Infinity Hall from 2009-2015 working directly with multiple artists such as Dave Brubeck, Jim Brickman, Chick Corea, & more. I’ve also served as Jim Brickman’s personal piano technician for the 2014 Brickman Bash in Nashville, TN.

My finishes & coloring techniques are highly sought after in the wood-turning community. Randy and his All-American team of engineers, suppliers, & metal fabricators in Connecticut, Minnesota, Michigan, & California work together to fabricate every aspect of every CASSOTTO lever.
