To create your own, you simply need to decide the 5 following choices:

  1. Body Style

  2. Head Angle & Tip Insert

  3. Wood Species or Coloring

  4. Logo

  5. Finish Style

  6. Tips

  1. Body Style

ALL LEVERS (*excluding the Pinch”) are available in sizes

Length 11” (27.94cm) | 12” (30.48cm) | 13” (33.02cm) | 14” (35.56cm)

Ball Diameter 1 7/8" (4.76cm) to 2" (5.08cm) | 2 1/4" (5.71cm) to 2 3/8" (6.03cm) | 2 1/2" (6.35cm) to 2 5/8" (6.67cm)

(Typical body weights on Classic Levers are between 5oz to 7.5oz, depending on wood selection/shape/dimensions)

Classic

Opt for the best! Using a ball is essential for efficiency, as it helps lift the tip off pins on verticals quickly and easily with a wrist motion.

Hybrid

The round ball smoothly connects to the wooden body, a good option if you enjoy both modern and traditional styles of feel.

Compact Classic

Preferred by women and technicians with small hands, this compact style minimizes wood length & mass, resulting in an even lighter frame.

Pinch

Our small tool reaches narrow spaces effectively with strong impact.

Available in 8” length only

Linear

You won’t find a more ergonomic handle when is comes to a straight shaft. I designed this with the technician in mind who enjoys the traditional feel.

Stick

Our simple tool provides strength and effectiveness without extra features. This is truly for the minimalistic technician.

2. Head Angle & Tip Insert Type

The 10˚, 12.5˚ & my favorite, the15˚

We Make 2 Insert Types

Each lever comes with (1) 1/2” half round hex steel insert. I recommend one tip insert, either 1/2” half round hex or 3/8” hex per tip you purchase for easy removal of the tip from the head.

1/2” Half Round Hex Steel Insert with excellent height & torque at the pin. Can be removed from tip with 7/16” socket. This pair best with the 10˚, 12.5˚, & 15˚ head.

3/8” Hex Steel Insert with a lower center of gravity at the pin. Can be removed from tip with 7/16” socket. This pairs best with the 12.5˚ & 15˚ head.

6. Tips

Made in Connecticut - Cassotto Prestige Tips

We make 5 hardened, black oxide steel alloy tips in shop, 2 of which are modeled off the BKB fit. To get the most out of your lever, I recommended carrying 4 of the 5 tips at all times or, at the very least, the 1a & 2a. Visit the tips page here for more information.
